I am going to go ahead and make a non-model prog call/guess. CXY hits 80 within the next 10 days and hits 70 at least 2 of the next 4 days (Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri) And yes, the AC will be blasting ..unfortunately.
Read that the rain was cancelled but just took my first AM look at the HRRR and 3K and they both look pretty rainy. Not a lot of rain vs. on and off all day. And next weekend....ugggh, get out the bathing suits. Possible some hot spots like CXY hit 70 or over 5-7 days in a row starting tomorrow or Wed.
I just posted the Wundermap showing the best cold in Central Adams and Cumberland. Note many of the mid 30's and low 40's out this way are in the elevated areas. Two 40+ readings in Michaux. Outside a surprise Mon AM, the growing season seems set to last into Mid Nov local Microclimate wise.
34 in Rouzerville this AM. Like last morning, a lot of variable temps through the LSV. Some mid 20's in Cumberland while a large part of the area near the river is in the upper 30's and 40's.
May be one of our larger differences. 14 degrees. Already up to 44 here. Good example of why we rarely get dangerous freezing rain here. Little radiational cooling, no mountains (for 30-40 miles) to our west to protect the cold air. I was up at 2000' this Am and it was near 40 there as well.
