  1. A bit of a pivot here but what looked like a week of 50's is starting to back pedal a bit. Most models now only get MDT over 50 Thursday night and maybe Friday depending on front timing.
  2. I had not had much frost this year and still had summer weeds growing despite the Christmas cold. This will put a kibosh on them. It is still only 29 here so not getting into the 50's here today.
  3. The scattered, cold rain tonight could be one of those times the "Bridge may ice faster than a road" like signs applies to some normally colder areas.
  4. Super frosty 22 this AM. The cold front did its deed. Any plans of grass growing are done for a while due to the frostiest morning of the season so far. The GFS modeled snowstorm is about 24 hours later than modeled yesterday.
  5. Hate me if you want....but...BANG! Potential is there if that second wave does form.
  6. I have to admit, I very much hope the HH GFS shows development at the end of the front as well....will be like throwing coal into the engines and starting the train up again. Just the drama alone is worth watching.
  7. Here is a picture which describes where some probably stand right now.
  8. Hey pal, don't take my model PBP as a forecast! (Kidding, lol). On the winter side it is down to 39 here now from a high of 43 around lunch.
  9. The path that it took to get there was "unique." Basically, a trailing wave forms on the front. Too late for out this way.
  10. 12Z Euro is more rainy tomorrow night now as well...and starts off some of the MSV with frozen Thursday AM. It then has quite the mix event for Saturday night. 2M temps a bit high. Pivotal Euro algorithms do put some of this down as snow.
  11. Tell me about it! Another analogy is when the US invaded Hawaii and freed the island from Cuba during the missile crisis! Score one for Gerald Ford!
  12. A decade or two from now, people would look back and see MDT near 20" and say 'Eh, not too bad'. Then they would check LNS or MU and see the truth. Nooners and 43/Mostly Cloudy here.
  13. And the last non-Banter MA post was just another man from our thread posting there.
  14. 12Z NAM 3K has some cold rain showers Tue night. 35ish.
  15. It may have been all virga as the 72 hour estimated map did not show anything in the last 12 hours.
  16. Yea, it was east of you. Some precip off that decaying front.
  17. 33 here this Am. Lots of radar returns overnight in the Eastern LSV. Anyone see snow? May not have reached the ground. Tue Afternoon and night is the next chance for precip.
  18. Yea, it was an uncomfortable warmish afternoon. A much more comfortable 60's days on the models later this week.
  19. My arm was active....and my throat...and my wallet.
  20. That is quite the drive. There was live Music at the Flood Zone but was too chilly for the patio...too windy really. Alexia Christian was playing.
  21. It was a chilly low 50's day. Wind was not allowing it to feel too nice. MDT's 5 min temps show they made 50 or 49.
  22. I think today is a given but with the cold front coming through for Monday, it may not make it then. GFS has CXY on a 70 watch for Thursday. Still see a chance of scattered precip overnight into tomorrow but now looks more wet than white if it happens. 22 here this AM after a high of 27 yesterday.
