It has been gravitating toward dry our whole time there...or scattered showers. CMC does show some rain Sunday in SRQ. No matter what the models say there will probably be storms forming on both coasts some days.

Some people like familiarity but I know in some cases, they would not eat at the chain if at home....they treat it like part of the vacation.

Most of the last several Saturdays including last Saturday over here. Was raining mid-afternoon Sat.

@canderson still mostly dry and quite warm in SRQ for the upcoming period. Wagons West though. 75 and East up to 95-100.

Mow 4 in the books. Used the "Yard Pig" old mower.

Mine is really not there either but cannot risk hoping to get it in tomorrow so lowering to 2.5" and doing a slightly wet cut today.

If that clearing in radar continues on its current pace (as modeled) Mow #4 is in the offing.

My interpretation is that he has been stating back what the models (especially the EC) have said and they have not been perfect. I believe he was calling for a warmer first half of May than we have had. MDT is 1.7 AN which is pedestrian compared to the norm these days...and has 5 of the first 13 days BN.

HRRR says mow away LSV. Radar looks a bit more menacing but not a total rainout yet.

SRQ is one of my favorite airports. It is what MDT should be. Surrounding neighborhood except behind the gates at Ringling, not so much.

I have not flown in bit but for a while they never asked for payment about half the time. They should be more lenient right now because some people stopped flying for a period due to covid. I remember the days I could open a bottle of wine, on the plane, I had purchased in the terminal.

We may have been on the same plane if I had not changed plans to Daytona. I am going to see if they will take some expired drink coupons.
