  1. May 2023 through April 2024 was the warmest 12-month stretch on record with a global average temperature of 2.90 degrees Fahrenheit above the 1850 to 1900 pre-industrial average, the report found.... ...The last time Earth recorded a colder than average year was in 1976 -- 48 years ago -- according to NOAA. https://www.yahoo.com/news/earth-experienced-warmest-april-record-020046872.html
  2. Yea, when your wedding anniversary is old enough to vote, you are not a kid anymore :-)
  3. Globals keep the wet pattern through Monday AM with updated to come totals. Not much grass growth here yet as the sun has still not really made an appearance.
  4. Yea, back then it was showing a rowboat day on Thursday. It has backed off a bit though the CMC is still showing it at 0Z.
  5. I am not sure I am right though. LOL. But my intention for the most part was rain for the next 7-9 days (as of last week)
  6. I just looked back and did post one EC Map through yesterday that was a little high in some areas. Had 1-2" lollipops around some less amounts. I think the rest of my maps and comments were supposed to be at least through Friday if not the weekend.
  7. The maps I posted show 1-3" later this week though the days changed a bit through different runs. CMC and Icon still touting that and the GFS is a little down but still 1-1.5" to go through Saturday. I did not mean to post any just through Wed. My bad if I did.
  8. It would need to be in the 40's outside to get it down to 65 during the day here. Despite it being in the mid 60's outside it is 71 inside right now.
  9. It would have gotten into the low to mid 80's in here last week with no AC. You must have a lot of trees and insulation.
  10. No AC since late on Friday. Coming on 72 hours worth of time....sweet for May.
  11. Happy Cinco De Mayo. The heat is on in my house on May 5th. I guess not as crazy as the accum snow in May a few years ago. I let the house temp get down to 63 and that was it.
  12. 46 and event total around .7" now. Some totals over 1" to my east on the other side of the mountain range.
  13. Down to 46 here. Lots of 47-49's in York and Lanco.
  14. You have sprinted past me at ~.25. Down to 47 between 800 and 900 feet elevation. Car Therm said 46 at Pen Mar Park where the elevation is 1400'. This wet "cold" sort of goes through you with any kind of breeze.
  15. MDT's range today has been high of 54 and low of 52. 50 (midnight and other times) and 48 (now and earlier today) here.
  16. The Globals keep teasing a super soaker one day next week though it keeps moving around.
  17. The slow rain (and the lack of sun the next 2 days stretching the benefit of the rain) should yield a grass bonanza the next time we get a day with more sun.
  18. 47 on Blue Ridge Summit and Pen Mar/50 at Rou with .15-.2" at Rou. A lot of drizzle so not real secure in the report being super accurate so putting in a range.
