Spent several February vacations at Saddleback back in the 80s. Will always remember that t-bar to the summit. Used to joke it was like a black diamond t-bar. I fondly recall a day the conditions were pretty rough, like heavy squalls with temps in the teens and going up that t-bar with ski patrol. Most everyone else had called it a day by that point. Looking forward to getting back up there again.

First flakes this morning...nice to see
Edit: Actually turned into a nice little squall

Interesting. So why is Berkshire western MA but Essex isn't northeast MA?

Hit 29 here for first below 30 of the season. Next weekend could be fun.

Pretty tame here so far but expecting a rough night's sleep. 55/50

Can probably re-use this thread for the mid-week threat. Looks more like the "big rain" than this past storm. Yesterday was the best day in terms of wind and precip here but overall very tame.

Noticing quite a bit of stressed trees around here. Some appear to have already lost most of their leaves while others still mostly green.

37 for my low with a little frost on parts of the lawn

Thought I heard drops outside. Little shower came through...67F

September 2019 looking like September 2014? The following winter was pretty nice here.

Doldrums. Would be nice to at least get a good, early season nor'easter in here to break the routine.

Looks like eye is starting to form on Dorian per sat

Already seeing color in the swamps.

Thunder and rain here. Been a lot of dry summers lately but nice to be getting the convection this year. Lawn looks like it normally does in early June.

We had paper wasps constantly buzzing around the eaves of our house since we moved in 7 years ago. The occasional one would somehow find its way into the house. They're pretty slow and stupid but still caused a ruckus. Had an acquaintance who owns his own extermination business spray around the eaves last year. Since then, nothing.
Great sleeping weather tonight.

Decent storm in Portsmouth earlier. Saw some tweets of ping pong size hail. Didn't see anything like that as I think the most severe was just to my northwest. 71/65

86/67, steamy. What a perfect evening yesterday with sea breeze all afternoon

You can actually just grab the lower right corner of the selected cell (the little square) and drag it down the cells where your totals go. Does it automatically.

What's interesting too is the frequency of storms that had direct impact on New England from the late 30s to the late 50s. Like 4 big hits in less than 20 years? If we went through another cycle like that, look out.

Does look like a November nor'easter out over the ocean side...

This is when you see folks true colors...not when they have to be nice. It’s when they don’t have to be, who are they really?
Although he may have had a bad meal and was grunting at his backdoor flaring up. You just never know, so I tend to give people a free pass until proven otherwise.
I have no issue with him and follow on twitter. It was here in PSM. I had just left a nice anniversary lunch with the wife and kids and he was coming up the street with his wife. I think they were just up for the day. But, yeah. maybe his lunch wasn't as enjoyable.
