  1. Had 3 or 4 decent/steady sun showers this afternoon. Nothing severe. Mowed the lawn Sat and could easily mow it again tomorrow. Green and thick is abnormal for Aug but good. This may be a early indication for a stellar winter... 79F/DP 75F
  2. Had a steady sun shower for about 10-15min. Not much/nothing to the W... 82F/DP 72F
  3. You may get trained w/typical showers unless they explode.... 87F/ DP 73
  4. You just posted what I was ready to write...saved me the hassle. Maybe this will develop more and swing through but won't be long lasting....
  5. It sucks because sometimes I like to sit on the porch (faces W) and watch/feel/hear the lightning/wind/thunder approach... critters as well. But no way this summer, I'll get bitten alive no matter what unless I use gasoline as a bug repellent. Good stuff not till later on... 82F/DP 70F
  6. It really starts to kick ass (earlier) in two minute increments as the month continues. Aug 31st sunset: 7:33pm. PECO guys must be racking up some major OT this summer with the storms. Probably more again tonight... 88F/DP 68F
  7. Must have went out completely overnight. Heard the printer power up/clocks blinking, not sure for how long. More storms later tomorrrow... 71F/DP 69F

  9. RedSky's probably "tucked in" for the night but he's in a good spot...
  10. You should do nice with this...perhaps may need another barrel.
  11. Pretty decent looking line and really can't see it diminishing w/such high DPs (70F here)...
  12. A couple tornado warnings out by Pitt...now one approaching C PA. 74F/DP 70F and burgers are better than dogs...
  13. Yeah, these spotty showers, you win on one end (lowers temps) but lose on the other end (higher DPs)... 83F/DP 74F
  14. Damn, this just blossomed to my N and you can hear the thunder...I'm sure JTA can. Gonna miss me though...
  15. May miss w/stuff to the N and S as it heads E... 88F/DP 74F
  16. Trimmed earlier. Fairly certain some of us will get showers/a boomer. Thing is, we really don't need it if failure occurs. No drought, grass is green and growing. Some popups forming to the W. 84F/DP 71F/Sunny
  17. Chance of storms today then again Mon into Tues, we are in a nice pattern rain wise. Grass growing and green as hell for August when it's usually dormant and brown/crispy. Hopefully winter gives us precip every couple days... 78F/Damn DP 69F/Overcast
  18. Philly 2.1F below average so far for the month (Adam Joseph/6abc) NOAA increases hurricane prediction... https://www.noaa.gov/news-release/noaa-forecasters-increase-atlantic-hurricane-season-prediction-to-above-normal
