  1. It doesn't listen to what we want, we can't control weather. Hell, I hoped for a cold/snowy winter. That didn't pan out so well. For me it's a win-win. If Spring/Summer has below average temps, (hopefully way below) great. If we heat up and put a halt/slow to the virus, great. *Woohoo...received a freeze warning text!
  2. I just want to postpone the dreaded heat as long as possible which WILL come. It's not like winter where you get shafted w/o cold/snow (this year)...Summer 99% of the time comes through w/the heat. But if we get severe weather w/the heat it's kinda a consolation prize. But if we get extreme heat and no severe weather that's complete hell....literally. And add convid-19, no sports, no state stores, can't get a haircut and starting Sunday required to wear a mask in PA. Imagine it being 95F+ HHH walking around or exercising w/a mask...lol, shoot me now!
  3. No way, I'm a big fan of the -NAO! Looking forward to a possible sub 32F tomorrow night...
  4. Yeah I agree, at least in PA. Starting this Sunday at 8pm, all workers and customers must wear mask when entering businesses. Gov Wolf will veto bill to reopen businesses. Mid May seems unlikely. I think June 1st at the earliest. https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/coronavirus/wolf-mandates-masks-as-gop-seeks-to-relax-business-shutdown/2364235/
  5. May take a little time but I think that's fine. Good luck..
  6. I would think w/proper documentation, SS# and may ask for previous addresses. Probably will be a hassle but doable...
  7. I believe you can update/enter your direct deposit info online...not sure about the name change thing though? This may help: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment (looks like the site is getting slammed)
  8. That's what I figured...numbers seemed lower over the past weekends. Kinda off topic but for those waiting for the stimulus mine was deposited into my account overnight. I live in SE PA, filed 2019 taxes in January and they had my direct deposit info for years if that makes a difference? I feel bad for people w/children who were living paycheck to paycheck and w/o direct deposit. The physical stimulus check will probably take weeks (months) to reach them.
  9. It may not even be mentioned? Wet flakes end of April, meh.
  10. Don S is great but I hope he's wrong....prefer this more: 41F/light rain
  11. Not that far away from you and I fully agree. The sunset..the breeze..super-nice!
  12. Well, if anything, one hell of a sunset with a nice breeze. I wish our future Summer nights would end like this but we know that's not the case.
  13. Pretty sure it was Beach Haven. Edit: Actually not but 74mph. Wind gusts of 82 mph in the Lanoka Harbor section of Lacey Township, 74 mph in Beach Haven and 73 mph in Cape May were recorded by the National Weather Service. https://nj1015.com/wildwood-boardwalk-damaged-by-powerful-wind-thousands-lose-power/
  14. Watching NBC10, neighbors tree came down and smashed Glenn's mailbox...lol
  15. Sun popped out...see clearing/blue skies to the W.
  16. Same here. Other than that no much to talk about... 64F/breezy
  17. Still waiting for the 60 - 80mph winds so I can fly my kite...it's all ready to go.
  18. I don't think we'll see much (any) sun as outbreaks are already occurring to our SW and moving up..some "red". Winds have definitely increased/ 63F.
  19. That may be borderline and yeah protect them if you can but I left plants out w/sub 32F and they were fine or recovered. But if it's night after night then that's a problem. Also you may hit sub 32F for a very short period (4-7am) which I think is minimal...sun pops up all is fine.
  20. Sounds like a weenie. It will be below normal the rest of the week which I don't mind at all so Spring still on hold for the time being but I don't see severe cold destroying your vegetation... 62F/low clouds/gusty
  21. It's a weather forum...what do you expect? No one wants the virus to spread any further and hopefully reduce but life goes on including weather...
  22. Sun will certainly ramp things up. There's quite a break to our W before more activity so we'll see. Gusty winds (20-25mph) currently w/low clouds. 61F
  23. Yeah, first round just about over. Solid rain, gusty but I don't think winds went above 25mph. Later today may be interesting though... 60F
  24. Lol...FOX29 at 10pm w/Kathy Orr took it a step further. During her visual "bullet points" for tomorrow she had "gust up to 80mph". So basically some of us will experience a Cat1. My trash cans should be fine and kite flying should be a real blast....
