My wife and I took a short ride and stopped at the NC Field of Honor in Kernersville. A tasteful and quite impressive site honoring NC servicemen from all branches, all wars. My bride next to a section of steel beam from the World Trade Center tower number 2. And your old mod next to the US Army obelisk.

Bad form on my part for sure. In my defense, my wife is also a UNCG grad. Back then they alternated four different colors for the classes. Her class color was green so I guess that was in my mind.

This is my youngest. She finished college and set off on a year long working vacation in New Zealand. Sitting right seat in a helicopter owned by her employer. He airlifts hunters and fisherman in and out the back country.

Yep. It was a good day. Found out that the Blue Bird Diner went out of business though. I hated that. They made the best lemonade I've had in many a year.

Now that the blizzard is over I'll post a pic. This is my bride and I with one of my favorite actresses from my younger days, Barbara Eden. She looks pretty good for 83(Barbara, not my wife). lol

Yep. The only time it turned out good for me was when I was trapped for a week with that woman's beach volleyball team. Even then it was an exhausting experience.

Agree. The header says ice "storms", which implies heavy damaging icing. No thanks. Now a light glaze that lights up the trees when the sun first comes out, sure, I love that.

Now that sound like a challenge. lol Just as I suspected. Pretty hopeless. It would take a lot of time to even out the blotchiness and return texture to the skin.
