  1. There was one in the mid/ late 2000’s that was frigid . Near freezing with snow flurries. I recall that one well because the kids were little and had to end it early
  2. Instead of candy turning to diarrhea in bags.. candy bars turning into ice cream?

  4. Yeah what a warm fall overall. That’s why some places that hit 30.7 this morning.. you’ll still have flowers , tomatoes etc growing . Needs to be in mid- upper 20’s for a few hours to kill
  5. How about the last 3 years really. Ever since wild Isaias. There’s been nothing but boring dongs for years
  6. Napril and Mayorch and then Septorcher .. in that order.. are most boring
  7. That’s almost everyone in the entire 6 state region other than Alex , Tamarack and usual spots
  8. So then discuss the details . Cold all week, freezes for all, first flakes etc., what does it look like? Instead of 70 posts on old snow events .. let’s discuss the future
  9. Theres been no discussion in two days. It looks meh . 45-50/ 30’s for a day or two and then molds back up
  10. Haven’t seen any discussion of the cold shot next week as models continue the slow but steady back off. Truly hope this is not the same thing that happens this winter. 7-10 cold / snow morphing into meh
  11. Nothing will have died from an hour at a fake 31. Most all of your plants will have made it
  12. No I was born in Jersey in 72. I moved to Vernon, CT in Oct of 79. Literally moved in the day of the 2” snowfall that October
  13. Did that one drop a general 7-10” with TSSN? Maybe that was it .
  14. The one I am thinking of was an all nighttime storm . It was def November. Maybe it was more early or mid 80’s
  15. Nah I recall that one too . That was only 3-4” of meh powder
  16. Winter .. just not in the East .. sometime in Dec it may hit for a few days. Until then … https://x.com/nwscpc/status/1716554116221325815?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  17. Much of my childhood sucked for snow . One storm I recall fondly was Nov 89 . Had 8” of paste and thundersnow . Most of it fell overnight and over by morning . Had quite a bit of limb and tree damage. The 70’s in NJ were in general good . But the 80’s blew
  18. Makes no sense . Almost all of SNE will grow everything into early Nov
  19. Don’t understand the frost advisories. 95% won’t see one .
