I think we “myself included” missed the fronto forcing aspect of this as it’s typically a NNE thing in coastals. Ryan, Scoots, Will mentioned it in various degrees but I think that is what most of us missed . Focused on the south shift and qpf cuts
We all do man . These things happen. I was my daughter’s senior night for basketball at the high school last night and was telling people we might end up with little to nothing . But also said sometimes they shift back north . This was impossible to forecast and no one should feel bad . Weather is humbling , predicting the future is and always will be an inexact science . Think about that Cat 5 cane that hit Acapulco this fall. Models had it coming ashore as a TS less than 24 hours out.
Isn’t this kind of how you and Freak and NNE sometimes get a foot from what looked like mainly a minor deal? The fronto forcing along H7 that was poorly modeled
It’s easy to say that now. I don’t think anyone thought or truly believed that yesterday afternoon and evening. If they did , I missed the posts. Just truly grateful this happened.
