Morning run in all darkness ftl. Today was first day of full dark.. Just getting light in Eastern sky. Miss those mid Mayorch - early Augdewst runs when sun in up before 5.:00 AM.

Wasps? I used to get nests all over. Would have to spray every season. In bushes,, in attic eaves .. they’d even get into the upstairs rooms sometimes. None last few years

You know what has disappeared the last 2-3 summers. Wasps and white faced hornets. They used to be everywhere. Now they have become extinct around these parts. Literally just vanished

Driving thru all the back roads all over CT many of the trees have some kind of fungus. All kinds of brown leaves on many trees

lol.. I was watching that downpour heading your way . So far this week of Coc and dudes in suits has yielded 2 days of rain and heavy smoke. Wet, soiled suits . Chamber closed until late October

Seems like from about the 25th and then well into Septorcher we see see another hot and humid extended spell . Of course normals aren’t as high then so that may mean a lot of 87-92 type stuff with 70+ dews. .

Great Lakes trough finally advects across the region, with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible both days, especially Mon with some improvement possible Tue, pending exact trough departure time. For what it`s worth at this time range, 00z CSU machine learning probs do offer low chance of strong thunderstorm winds both days. Warm and humid with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s. It will feel quite warm, with dew pts in the low 70s.

Tough week for the COC k folk . Rain yesterday, smoke today and then this end of week ( unless dews well into 60’s are coc k.) ridging advects across the region, along with warming temps aloft. Seasonably warm and somewhat humid both days, with highs upper 70s to lower 80s, mid 80s possible Fri and dew pts in the 60s both days.
