  1. 26 miles and 18" of rain difference still boggles my mind. @canderson garden watering as commenced, grass will probably follow next week sometime Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  2. Skin cancer as well Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  3. At least Costa Rica has some big mountains one can escape to. We have ski rountop Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  4. Last night reminded me just how glorious it was from 8/19/07 through 8/22/07. 4 days where the temperature stayed between 58 and 68 degrees day and night. The middle two days saw highs of 64 and 62. Stiff east wind and 2.50" of rain spread out over those 4 days. Between rain batches a glorious 25mph wind with drizzle. That 4 days stretch would not be equaled until that October. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  5. I've had 2 hours of low clouds and drizzle with a slight north east breeze. It feels magnificent outside. I pray I don't hit 90 for the rest of the year Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  6. 1947 had to be really bad up there Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  7. Did some digging and the good news for me is that my little rain deficit is highly localized. I can't go 5 miles without running into a station that has 4"+ than myself and the few around me. On the other hand it's even stranger that this small area has so little Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  8. @Voyager you have some explaining to do for 1947 and 2006 Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  9. A sprinkle has arrived!!!! Haha, I just cut the grass. I have neighbors pissed they cut the grass yesterday in those horrid conditions after hearing rain for both today and tomorrow and now nada. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  10. Looking ahead to August I could easily see me staying well below 25" the year by September Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  11. Maybe something crazy comes tonight but I've had nothing today and under1.50" in last 3 weeks. Things are going to dry out real quick here. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  12. All this has really taught me is that the variation in local rainfall is absolutely mind numbing Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  13. Wunderground has now hit a no rain prediction for the rest of the evening. Looking at radar I can see that possibility Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  14. I have the realization that more than likely the only way I'm going to hit normal rainfall this year if others experience severe flooding so my new goal is 80% normal rainfall. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  15. Full sun. 89. The dew point has dropped to 71 Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  16. Supercell composite Right now it is the most ridiculous humid conditions with heat I've ever felt here Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  17. If something is going to blow up I'd beg for it to start developing in the Carlisle to Mechanicsburg area. Being upper 80s with sun and dewpoints that high I feel like there almost has to be a cap in place there that it has not blown up already Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  18. I'm full sun. It's 90, dewpoint 76 HI of 106 Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  19. Haha, wunderground now has all of Cumberland county and Harrisburg city proper getting less than 0.10" of rain today Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  20. I'll happily take higher temperatures with lower dewpoints. Yesterday was horrendous and today my heat index was 96 with a 84 air temperature. Literally makes me nauseous Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  21. It's 84 with dewpoint of 79 Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  22. I feel nuts sitting here worrying about rain when everyone else seems to be +7"-12" on me for the year Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  23. Doesn't Mt Joy have about 35" for the year so far? Which is nuts since it's 27 miles away. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  24. Currently I'm sitting at 21.32" for the year. I should be at 25.76". For July I'm at 3.68", I should be at 4.76". So I'm definitely hoping for 2" today to eat into my 4.45" rain deficit. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  25. What's causing the outbreak up there something far north of boundary? Wunderground local forecasts give me whiplash. Today has been pegged by them as an inch plus day for days until this morning when it dropped to 0.15" Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
