One of the weirdest storms I’ve ever worked up here. Huge bust on snow totals - I have nothing on my snow board and snow depth went down a half inch today. I would guess I have around 2”. BUT PWM did verify a blizzard warning.
No idea what we got in Bath. It was snowing for several hours....with the wind, it was blowing off the back yard (we back up to the river so no snow blows onto the yard). All the snow was deposited on my front porch which had about 8" on it. Decided to take a drive--the roads were really pretty bad. We definitely got more than I expected and more than what I thought had actually come down.

PVD 1/40”
It would really be a shame if they don't get 3' on the event.
Actually--if that's on the ground, is there an eventtotal for them I figure there must be some compacting of today's snow in there.

Anything BM or SE that doesn’t track into the GOM thru the Bay of Fundy is a no go.
I said I could see no mechanism that would cause it to come further north.
I should have just accepted it an hope for later this week--which is looking pretty meh.

There was 5”
But they officially had 32.8” at the 37” depth (+32”) ob so another 1.5-2.4”/hr puts the official at 34-35”
It would be awesome to pull a 40.....
I guess I should say "super awesome"

They cant keep up here in scituate. Requested the national guard for help to keep streets clear. We dont even have nearly what they do.
But why pull them out? Did Providence, too?

So that's 35"??

So the Great Bath Blizzard of 2026 has come to an end. My call for 2" may have been a little lofty. Maybe I can slant-stick a "drift"
Still incredibly windy.

Somewhere in the 8-inch range here, no way to measure accurately. Not the huge totals like down south but a great storm anyway.
Nothing near that here........visbility about 1 miles across the water. I think if there's nothing to blow into the air (like over the water), the visibility would a a constant.....but maybe i'm wrong.
We were under 1/2 vis for about 90 minutes.

METAR had SNINCR 2/30. Which is 2 in the last hour 30 on the ground - but they had 5 before the snow started, so that's at least 25" from this storm. With compaction I would guess the measured total will be higher at 1 pm. So I think that makes this at least #2 all time (as long as they've cleaned up the record with Will's info).
I think that means "no", not yet.

Was really surprised to wind up with the snow this morning--about 4" or so. Surprise for many given the number of cars off the turnpike.
