Might be heading to Pit2 tonight.......cusp of something decent there per that clown.
WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 9 inches, sleet accumulations around 1 inch, and ice accumulations around two tenths of an inch. The greatest snow accumulations will be away from the immediate coast. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph Saturday night.

10 days out, I'd call for sunny and 60's as a safer bet.

Yeah it would have been nice to string a few more together. Not looking overly warm next week.

Wind up next
Wind's been howling up here at Pit2 since before my pre-dawn wakeup. Highest gust so far at IWI of 44.

I think Kev should have the honors to fire up the '24 thread.

Feels like a cool summer morning out there.

Maps aside (thanks for those!), the name of this thread suggests it will have fewer posts and a Wiz severe thread.

Can we start the countdown to winter 24-25 thread now?

Interesting because a couple of dozen miles to your west, I didn't feel like the mosquitoes were that bad. Maybe I didn't go out at certain times of the day? Deer flies were also non existent here compared to the typical year.
Last year was a great one with respect to the dearth of black flies.
