    Heavy heavy snow. Like some of the heaviest I have ever seen. Too bad it’s already starting to lighten up.

    Maybe I was just really tired but I didn’t hear a single gust last night? The last wind storm woke me up promptly. The Squall line was a dud too.

    Interesting . Some shingles blew off my garage roof from the last wind storm we had so inland can have the wind this around lol

    Tickling 50F here with sun and little wind. Love the snow but these days are always very welcomed toward the back half of winter.

    So the models that are a hit still show an elongated/dual low. I’m not falling for this again. It’s crazy how this has suddenly become a thing.

    Looking at current obs I guess the models were actually right about this? Not that coastal RI and NYC are getting significant icing but their temps are indeed colder than most of CT.

    The only reason I am not too upset is because it was pretty well modeled that there was going to be a sharp cutoff west of SE CT. I was hoping for more but I kinda was expecting to only get the scraps, which is what ended up happening.

    So on NOAA Milford reported 11.3 at 1000am. if that is right then we definitely broke a foot here which would be a huge win all things considered. I thought we had less at the time but it’s tough to dispute given all the drifting. It definitely did feel like we had more today than the 9.5 we got a few weeks ago.
