  1. Sitting in subsidence. Time to get some more sleep lol hopefully in two hours I somehow wake up to another band rotting over me.
  2. I have a memory of a goldfish when it comes to this stuff, but mar 2018 sounds about right. It’s been a long time. Haven’t had thundersnow here yet but it’s sick even without that
  3. That SE CT band ain’t at its pivot point yet though. Wonder if it finds its way here .. not banking on it but it’s possible.
  4. Jim Cantore just got thunder snow twice live on TWC lol
  5. Radar weakened a bit here since I posted that, but it’s still sick outside.
  6. The band does look like it may keep moving east so maybe it rots over us? Who knows lol. Incredible storm even if it doesn’t. Just sick stuff happening outside. Glad I managed to sneak in about 3 hours of sleep lol
  7. It is breaking up a bit here and I do wonder if we may catch some subsidence between the NYC band and the band destroying SE MA?
  8. Dude I just woke up too. This is epic stuff outside
  9. Measured around 14 inches but with the wind I have no idea if that’s fully accurate lol
  10. This is incredible . How did some models only show us getting 8 inches of snow rofl
  11. Like holy **** heaviest snow I think I’ve ever seen
  12. Fell asleep at 230. Set an alarm for 330. Somehow snoozed that. Woke up to this. Holy ****
  13. Thunder snow near block island with that band moving towards CT
  14. Oh god can’t I remember the last time I was still awake during an 06z model
  15. I could be wrong but I’m thinking the banding about to hit Suffolk is what the latest GFS, RGEM etc kept to our south and prevented our area from getting the high end totals? If that’s the case then I think those models are going to be wrong..
  16. Update? Your area has been getting crushed for hours now per radar lol
  17. I would have missed out on 9+ inches of snow if I just woke up now lol. I doubt I get 9 or more from here on out but I guess you never know.
  18. Almost feel like I have to stay up to see it unfold lol
  19. 9.5 inches here. Looks like some more bands will be coming in from LI soon too. Also based on radar I’m thinking maybe NWNJ could be where that snow band pivots and drops a ton of snow in a localized area?
  20. Was just about to go to sleep but then I took a look at the radar. Man that stuff near Suffolk moving NW looks sick.
  21. A little over 9 inches. Though it’s getting tough to measure with the winds picking up. I should go to sleep but it’s so hard to during these overnight storms lol
