  1. That is one of the more impressive squall lines I have seen in years. .
  2. They have been spot on most of storms, but don’t agree with the end of winter. We will spring next 10 days, but almost every model showing some signs of winters return. .
  3. Sad to say, but one of my highest snowfalls of the year. .
  4. Cleaned off truck, 4”. Surprised how fluffy it was for how warm it was during the snowfall. .
  5. Looking out window looks like 3” or so out that her in Lanco. .
  6. I don’t mind when snows melt quickly. I am about the chase and the event. After that, I don’t care if it stays or goes. I know a lot of people are “pack hunters”. I’m big game. I remember ‘82 as well. I was 9 years old living in central Jersey. I was in awe. .
  7. I travel for my job throughout the Northeast and Mid Atlantic, and it lets me be witness to many snowstorms that I would miss being in Lancaster. I have been through the November 2014 Lake Effect event in the Buffalo area and the February 2013 snowstorm in Connecticut (reports of 8” per hour). Maybe just me, but there is nothing like a snowstorm in your own backyard. .
  8. Seen people ice fishing and skating on the ponds. Haven’t see. That in awhile (in Lancaster). .
  9. Gotta think between Brockton and Taunton 3 foot totals will be met. .
  10. Had a grand total of 1.5”. Just look at this band in New England: .
  11. Watching news channel from Boston. The Cape shots are just incredible. .
  12. GFS catching on to ramping up storm further south and west. .
  13. Didn’t expect almost every model to jump west like that. It’s almost becoming a costal hugger. Interesting. .
  14. Very True. But to overcome the the other two, we would need an extreme ridge. .
  15. I lost my interest when the WAA snows waned, and it became only a coastal storm. Progressive flow, no blocking and not so ideal western ridge location spelled the doom for this. New England still in game because they are so far east. That’s why they can do ok in La Niña winters. We need at least some pseudo blocking to get us in the game. .
