    Just to make myself feel better about this disaster, I spent my lunch break going through 4 Seasons weather archive and GYX’s storm archive to develop a few statistics. Average nearly a 12” storm a year.

    As we’ve slogged our way through February I’ve slowly begun preparing for the season. I refined what’s in the bag: I traded in my collection of Titleist TSR clubs (driver, 3 wood, 5 wood, hybrid, hybrid) and a Taylormade 2 iron in an effort to consolidate into a GT driver, 3 wood, 3 hybrid and 4 hybrid. I have mapped out my tournament schedule. And I wrote down goals for the year.

    I’ve lived in ASH for 12 years now and can confirm with absolute certainty that this area blows for everything weather wise except for heat. We do that well.

    Oh I have many snow storms that rival or exceed 78 in terms of snowfall. But the closest I’ve come from a snow and wind perspective is January 2005. We’ll never see another 78 because we won’t have the mass societal impacts because 78 happened.

    i love the smell of subsidence during a blizzard. This storm will be forgotten by Wednesday. Not even top 100 for me. Congrats again to those receiving their ‘78 storm. I’ll never get to experience one of those.

    Nope. Need mother nature to shut off the snow. Melt it all. Dry it out that way April 1 we’re good to go.

    GYX just increased our forecast total?!?! (From 13” to 15”)

    If southeast Mass gets 2-3’ from a coastal that passes over or inside the BM and I get less than a foot then this storm can pound sand. January 2022 all over again.
