  1. Moderate snow in Westminster but all surfaces wet and snow appears to be melting on contact... I lost my dusting I had from early this morning. Temp sitting at 32.
  2. light snow picking up again here, temp holding at 31 but has been slowly rising.
  3. light snow just started again after a 30 min lul, salt truck came through and melted the coating of snow on my street. :-(
  4. Best rates of the winter and like that the road is covered. My kids stuck at school till 11. Carroll county is going to regret not closing.
  5. Colder than guidance. 26 here in Westminster and models around 30.
  6. I feel likes the temps are busting lower than models foretasted. Not sure what that means since I am at 31-32 and it appears to be mostly rain with some flakes mixed in...Not really accumulating
  7. Yeah I heard they were bad up there. My son was driving back from ski liberty and felt he needed to use 4wd.
  8. Looks like it's snowing just 10 miles or so to the north of me. Sitting at 31 and rain when forecast called for 35 at this time.
  9. Not at all and I am here because my forum threw in the towel on this storm and I am on the fringes of this forum. Was primarily focusing on the long discussions about MJO, STS, etc... and what the long range models have 384 days out lol....
  10. I dont trust anything the models put out outside of 36 hours. I have avoided our mid atlantic long range thread as its a roller coaster discussion that has zero usefulness.
  11. I presume if it decouples the solution would come in colder?
  12. My faith is in the NAM now that we are in the short range. It has been consistent over the last few runs with minor timing differences.
  13. Good point. If you take that into consideration it does align with 6Z.
  14. The 12Z NAM is warmer...The 2M freezing line touches the Mason Dixon line at HR36 when at 6Z it was 25 miles south.
  15. The NAM has been oscillating between runs and moving the frozen precip line north and south for the past 24 hours. Lets hope we start seeing a southerly trend with the NAM...
  16. Those in the MA will not like the 12ZNAM, The LP crosses directly over us and erodes the cold air
  17. 0Z NAM was in agreement as well with LP as the GA/SC border.
  18. I think at this time frame we have to start relying more on the features showing in the meso's.
