  1. Apparently some mid level magic made its way to north central VT because have about 24".  Pics below.  Excuse the Ginx quality tape measure pic.  It reads 20" when I took it at 7:00.  The deck had been cleared after the last storm as had the other surfaces in the pics, including a large portion of the back yard.  The snow was exceptionally light and airy.  It was easy to wade through.  Still snowing too.

  2. While I was sitting at work in Montpelier watching a nice snowfall with 5”-6” or so by the time I left at 4:30, apparently there was something special happening here at home in Barre Town. I thing there is well over a foot that has fallen and it’s still just puking snow. I will post pics later. When I checked just before I left work, it looked like we were in the northern reaches of that band that stretched into CT, as PF had mentioned earlier. Wow, had expected less than this over a longer time frame. This is a surprise.

You guys b*tching about over a foot are such phucking babies. Tuck in your labia and accept you can't jack every event.

A top event this is not. Those runs last night were obviously junk.

this whole storm was so banded minus the first few hours. Really the only winners have been in a 20 mile wide band for 4 hours.

Awesome event for those that got in it. Big March snow is always fun.

Looks like some 70s too.  Don't forget to mention that!

3000 miles away from home and you boys are making me feel like I've never left.

H8 temps are around +20C from MWN to BOS. Near all-time record territory for the Rockpile? IIRC their record is 72F. It probably won't happen, but if we can get a monster mixed layer and keep them out of the 0SM FG maybe they can get close if these progs verify.

Will be probably pretty steamy with all the rain and wet ground.  Good times!

Sounds great!  I was rooting for Huddersfield last week.  I'm a Man City fan, but I'm hoping to get to a match in Huddersfield when I go over in the fall.  Would love to see Liverpool at Anfield, but tickets are tough to come by.  If you're a Beatles fan, you should definitely go to the museum in Liverpool.  Spent a day in York, and it was a nice city.  Went to Yorkminster and the Viking Museum.  Had dinner at the Guy Fawkes Inn and it was excellent!  Wife just texted that the weather in London today is about like here - cold, windy and rainy.

Not a Beatles fan per se but we will be going to the museum as I like some of their music and I get their place in rock and roll history.  I love York.  Yorkminster and the Shambles are great sites.  I think my 13 year old son will like the Viking museum.  The last time we were there was a few weeks after 9/11 and there was a memorial set up outside of the cathedral with messages of support from "Old" York to New York.  It was pretty touching.  I definitely plan on stopping by Huddersfield's stadium too.

Been to Anfield 1/2 dozen times...greatest place to see a match in the world...Go Reds

    YNWA

I would have loved to have been able to see a match but with the boy's school schedule and all, it just wasn't in the cards this year.   I plan on taking the Anfield stadium tour. unfortunately, due to construction you aren't allowed in the Kop or on the pitch at this time.  The Fenway Sports Group does a good job with the Fenway Park tours so I imagine they do well with the Anfield tours too.

My wife has been in London since last Wednesday, and had mostly sun and 70s. Rain and cool today. Where in the north are you heading. Spent time in Manchester, Liverpool, Lake District and Peak District. Love it up there, and planning to go back in the fall.

My aunt & uncle and cousins live in the Huddersfield area which is between Manchester and Leeds. We have Britrail passes and plan on taking day trips to Liverpool (I want to see Anfield), York and and the moors.

Lol....I was there in mid June 25 years ago and it was an inferno-90s most days.

Just checked, nothing but 60's through next Wednesday. We'll see after that. We fly in to Heathrow Sunday and stay in London until Wednesday and then head north to visit family until the 20th.

The key is to hit it over everything and into the next fairway. That way you have a clear shot at the green from 250 out.

But the GFS and Euro do agree on some EML air coming our way, so it could be a toasty day.

Not for me, I'll be in England all next week. Haven't officially checked but I don't believe that I'll see 90's over there.

Hey man it's like 2 yards more carry for every 10 degrees warmer, so I can squeeze out like 7-10 more yards off the tee. Every little bit helps.

Do you really need to be further back in the woods?

The pattern will change by the 15th and completed by the 21st. Embrace summer right on schedule

This would work well for me.  We are leaving for England on the 10th and returning on the 20th

All these doomsday all weekend heavy rain washouts lol. Come on folks. You know better. It's a run of the mill rain event ending Sunday morning.

Good Lord at some of these posts today

I'm actually rooting for you to be somehow, miraculously correct.

I was thinking that reading your post.....it's crazy what even green up can do to temps.  Maximize the H85 temps before that.

One of the reasons that summer is better than spring around here.

  14. EURO rots the deform band up here. That's ridiculous and I toss. You can see how it lingers QPF up here for several panels.

Anyway, hard numbers are 1.4" for Lewiston and 1.7" for Laconia, 1.0" for MVL. I'll eat my hat if Dryslot only gets 0.4" more QPF than up here. That was a bizarre run.

Who doesn't enjoy a nice meal of hat now and then though? :P
