It’s not useless, but I do think we are seeing patterns that don’t quite fit the previous analogs. But to be honest, it can be chaos too. We don’t have the best sample size yet for ENSO events, so one can expect some results that deviate from previous years likely due to chaos.

Some of these model runs are a big problem. The euro op was ridiculous.

So for here it was AN but other places are closer to normal for July and August. That fact it’s a struggle to actually get near normal is amazing.

So far I’ve enjoyed it. Even the soil had dried out a bit. Top layer anyways. It feels good to be out and free from this winter. What a disgrace. Beach wx comes quick. Can’t wait.
