  1. Man the GFS is insistent on a crazy storm towards the end of its range.
  2. BOS-WEY pork central last two winters. Remarkable really.
  3. Last year April and May were warmer and drier than normal. It was nice.
  4. Man look at that difference. From nice and perky ridge boobs to sideways and stretched out.
  5. My point is that those horrific Springs like in the 00s definitely have warmed. Sure there is the 2020 year now and then, but the overall trend has been warmer and less cruddy. Not sure why that has spawned contention. Will it revert back? Maybe it could? But as SSTs rise, the helps reduce some of the horrific weather. Not to mention less snowcover and a quicker melt. That helps too. Not sure why Wolfie argues because of all New England...he's in the better spots for nice Spring weather lol.
  6. Springs overall have been warmer. That said, sometimes it's still not the nicest.
  7. I’ve been saying that for weeks although different reasons. We’re going to have some warm days for sure.
  8. If it’s somehow ruined, it’s a cold rain instead. Nobody is getting snow.
  9. Ensembles look warm in general. Maybe a risk of the warm front getting hung up at some point, but the temp anomalies are dam high.
  10. I have bulbs of some sort coming up for awhile now. Just some green sprouts about 2-3" tall in sun torched spots.
  11. More like a sub tropical storm about to get sling shotted towards SNE and 1888 unfolding in the Mid Atlantic.
  12. Yeah, like just as you get adjusted to nice weather...boom it changes to a period of colder/stormier weather. Probably will happen to a point.
  13. I'm aware of that too. Some signs second half stormier for sure.
  14. I was just thinking about that. Right at nightfall it started to blow and drift around. Talk about WTF.
  15. Yeah you to the Cape (of all places) and two ski areas in VT lucked out. But for 85% of the region, blows.
  16. Just looking at EPS...if anything were to change to cold and stormier it would be probably at least mid March. That's still a torch look on 3/8. So yay, I'll prepare for my March 2010 9" rain event again.
  17. Of course for the last two weeks when the airmass is serviceable, shows up. So much for the good back half of winter.
  18. I also wonder if Hunga Tonga mucked things up. That is an enormous amount of water vapor sent high into the atmosphere/stratosphere.
  19. The snowmobile bars in Moosevulva Maine will turn into tiki bars.
  20. We know they'll be shitty days and people clinging onto day 10 GFS snow on 3/15...but we are done.
