  1. Fairly strong winds SE MA and the Cape. Heavy rain CT into BOS. Maybe TS gusts at BOS. It's a tight system as modeled.
  2. OBX could be an option....was sort of referencing here. Hyperbole aside, it wouldn't shock me of we saw some impacts even in SNE. All options are there.
  3. Not a hard sell, but I'd caution that placement near SE MA and ACK. GFS may have had the right idea with the weenie center jump.
  4. She gone. Either OTS or in FL...probably OTS.
  5. It's developing more and more to the SW IMO.
  6. BOS harbor is torching. It will either never snow here, or piles of OES with an atmospheric exhaust fan over Methuen.
  7. Looks like the euro also has gulf solutions too. Can't rule that out. It did look better on the 00z guidance as far as being a more cohesive storm.
  8. My hydrangea exploded this year. Tons of blooms after 3 years of very little blooms. Maybe it just needed a few years to mature.
  9. Give me a nice AN snowfall winter. If I get 18” and someone gets 25” in a storm, I’ll live.
  10. That was when you mentioned talking to the mtn, saying "I know you are doing your job with orographics...I know you are..it's just not happening this year."
  11. It was bad especially in the temp department, but locally for snowfall it was near normal. We had two snow events in April that saved it. I know it’s April, but the second snow event was powder...even during the day. This last winter was my first real shit winter since 11-12. 15-16 was pretty bad iirc in nrn MA and into Srn NH relative to normal.
  12. That's usually reserved for the big KU events, but even Gloucester is usually too far east for that. That's more cstl north shore in Essex county like Salem/Peabody. Usually winds aloft start turning east and pumping moisture off the water, while winds near and just inland from the coast are north. 1/2/14 was one that was not a classic KU...but they have wind off of 40+ SSTs into air that was barely above 0F. Absolute fluff bomb for Essex county, especially that area near Boxford.
  13. That was a fun storm despite the mess in the middle. Sure it could have been more, but not common to have WSW amounts that early in the season.
  14. Yeah, I'd love to see 1995 again. Epic month. So many good memories. I think Christmas morning it was like 5F out with a foot OTG. A true Christmas of yore. I'll have to watch Schwoegler's video again for that storm a few days earlier.
  15. Love an early start...kind of with Kevin on that one with a snowy December, despite climo being a little hostile for me, locally.
  16. Would probably lead to a weaker STJ? Probably not a bad thing. I feel like it's been active recently..although that's anecdotal off the top of my head.
