Well we are going out to eat tonight outdoors with blankets and all. Feel bad for the businesses. Many are trying to do the outdoor heater thing, but that will only last so long.

We are due for some dry years. We've had some extremely wet years, so we regress. Just like with snowfall. Prepare for regression. Also, this time of year nearly an inch of rain like what you had, goes a long way. That will help grass, shrubs, and even trees. It won't do much for reservoirs...but it's a start.

I know if it's not in their back yard they'll be mad. Truth be told, the Monday storm will not be as widespread because the flow is a little more progressive. But a large chunk of New England got a good drink despite the calls of no rain etc. Even here, we are sort of Stein'd, but it's October. Don't care much now.
