We really could use one of those nice 1040 highs north of Maine for this. We don't have that at all..it's just this dong ridge extending over. Think of some of those events in 07-08 that flipped, but not without a fight. We don't really have that to maximize frontogenesis and QPF.

ICON again has a slower primary and looking more like the other globals with the low in NE PA and a meso low along boundary near NYC and over to the Cape. So different and less progressive than 6z.

Just comparing 12z and 6z at hr 72 at 12z.

ICON seems a little south of 6z.
