Wait. Are you actually promising sunshine?
Hadley cell and sinking air will save us.

I probably mentioned it here before but I have bad seasonal affective disorder and hopefully when I retire in a few years I can head south for at least a warmer (sunnier?) climate
Just give it a few more years and that climate will be here before you know it. LOL.

Maybe because winter blew salty balls, but I’ve been enjoying April. We’ve had some nice days and it provides a path to completely forget the past winter.

Down to 1° over now. Should bump it up a little in the next week or so.
1 degree is practically BN in the new Greta regime.

31F here with frost. A few upper 20's away from the Connecticut River. Definitely a cold April.
NWS says freeze possible on Wednesday night and more frost. I really hope it's done going below freezing past that point.
It’s not a cold April.

Once we mix out the fake cold it will be a nice one.

A touch of frost in my hood, but just down the hill like 80 feet, there was much more frost. As fake as fake can be. Third day in a row my temp was hovering near 37 thankfully.

I have yet to be in the winter well since 2022. It's been perpetual Autumn.

I would take another month of today's. Gorgeous out.
I know it's not that warm, but sun feels great and winds subsided a bit.

I agree but no frost with high wind
Well 32 is 32 so if you are below it, doesn't matter if it is a frost or freeze.

Huge difference from Euro to GFS on Wednesday. NAM sort of in the middle.

Have a little bit at the woodyard. Red maples in the swamps are beginning. Of course the invasives are ahead of everything. Burning bush and multiflora rose are flourishing.
Yep. Norways are right there. But I noticed a few different oak species getting those swelled buds.

Yeah species dependent. Put Norways there and you’d be in the shade already.
