    Assuming you were in Cambridge? Yeah we had nasty storms in the morning. That was the EML moving in. That night was the most prolific night show I can remember. CGs like War of the Worlds. Knocked out the power and ended up listening to the Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals by radio. An old coworker is an avid storm chaser and he said that was Plains lightning. Just constant strobes.

    Torch cometh for several days starting this weekend. Especially Sunday. Should cool off later next week.

    My friend in Windham had about 2”. You sure 3”?

    3.62 in the gauge.

    Yeah that area had a narrow band of higher totals. But 4.5” seems high compared to others. Maybe testing out the hoses?

    I didn’t wear shorts once this weekend. Cold AF. Probably first time ever this late in season.

    Definitely much needed. The timing was terrible. Ruined the weekend. I guess I don’t need to water for awhile so that’s good. LOL.

    We go to the Cape in August. Specifically Brewster. It’s warm and humid and the bay side is bath water. It’s an epic time to go.

    So far my high has been 49.2 last two days and that was earlier with no precip falling. Terrible.

    Drenching in eastern CT. Once that passes it lightens up probably until late day and this evening when convection May get involved.

    I think the latest I ever did it was like jun 1 several years ago. We had a nasty two day stretch like this.
