  1. Well good news is that nobody can get anything for Christmas anyways so that will help.
  2. It won't happen, but that was funny.
  3. Ray ripping back Red Bulls as the Euro rolls in at 1am.
  4. Because all the hacks are out there on social media claiming winter is coming with memes etc. God forbid one of us posts something a little to the contrary. They either don't listen, or just take that as if to say winter is cancelled.
  5. If anything, Ninos are the ones that have Novie threats.
  6. That's just weenie talk. There is no truth in that statement.
  7. Although 6z GFS has snow up north. Just was going by EPS.
  8. That day 6 threat might be just a bit late in developing, but still worth watching.
  9. Still looks like some threats for NNE. That hasn’t changed.
  10. That is true in the early season. I’ve even had that here where I am. Unless of course it’s 10/30/20 lol. But yeah even a north wind like in November can cause issues, but that’s mainly borderline events in November. It really doesn’t effect the average overall.
  11. I also grew up in Brockton which is inland and does a little better with borderline events. So we had some decent December storms that maybe were borderline in Hingham despite their latitude.
  12. Yes. I live a few miles west of that guy. We usually are similar except in some events where the CF crawls east. He also does obs like once a day and I’ve noticed some differences in snowfall I think because of that, but he’s pretty good. Older guy who was in charge of Blue Hill Observatory up until several years ago. BED certainly sees more plowable events early on, but it’s not something that’s mind blowingly crazy. If BED is snowy, so am I. It’s just that the borderline events would favor them.
  13. Yeah we had a few inches otg then. That was one of them. I’ll have to go back and see if any other years jog my memory.
  14. Yeah honestly don’t recall many at all and that is why lol. Some snow showers etc on a couple of Christmas Eve’s maybe, but not a legit white one. Hell I remember more white T-Days vs White Christmas haha. 1995 was my first real white Christmas I can recall. About a foot otg.
  15. That is why we use ensembles that far out. It's not worth looking and commenting on them because you will get wild swings with each run.
  16. It might be close. It was around 7 when it started snowing I think.
  17. 2017 was the first real Christmas I've ever seen snow fall like that. Will is right, 7a was too early here IIRC, but we blitzed for like 90 minutes and had under 3".
  18. What do you guys expect that far out? Any of those solutions are possible.
