  1. Yeah that's been waffling. HRRR really tries to pummel and the NAM has that heavier swath moving in once that tongue begins to move in. But yeah overall I did like seeing it better in srn areas, so that's a good sign anyways.
  2. Yeah a little better, but that model has no problem slamming the 750mb warm tongue north.
  3. Looking forward to see pics of his kids in the snow....I'll be sure to counter that with mine in the compacting snow at 34F in the afternoon. The world balance will be restored.
  4. The models are showing that, so it probably does get west of you, although I'm not sure it gets that far west, agree.
  5. It may relax for a couple of days like on the 4th or 5th? But otherwise a huge EPO likely leads to some overrunning chances.
  6. That's a nice parting CJ as that cold comes in over the cstl areas near and SE of me. LOL. That's funny.
  7. HRRR liking that secondary push of snow late day and evening.
  8. HRRR also cooling at the surface. This looks like a real nice event for east slopes of Monads eastward into SNH. Probably include Mitch's cemetary in VT and maybe down into nrn ORH to Ray. And then secondary area up north with the mid level goodies.
  9. I will say sometimes that area of CT thumps hard before the change to sleet. What was once 1-3" all the sudden is like 4-5". I've seen that too.
  10. There were some disrobing to all snow pretty far south. Anyways, will be an interesting storm. I think I am holding with 5-8 here.
  11. Another thing to think about these is the slot and how quick it comes. HRRR tries to shut it off quickly after lunchtime in many areas.
  12. Seymour I think needs to wait a few hours before he drives head on into the merrit tunnel.
  13. That’s not bragging. That’s trying show some people how these work after scoffing at those calls for warmer ticks by a few of us. You think we just purposely try to **** with people? We are trying to get the forecast right.
  14. Looks like verbatim it has srn CT in between bands. I guess for now I wouldn’t worry yet.
  15. He gave a range for a reason. So could be only 6” for you.
  16. Euro was a tick warmer but not much at all. If we had that secondary kick in sooner, I’d definitely feel a little better on the higher amounts. I do feel like that sleet line will march slowly, but steadily north so we’ll want to see a blitz prior, especially south of pike. We still may see minor but warmer adjustments. So it does matter in borderline areas where 1-2F change means 2” vs over 6”.
