  1. I think that was more of a SWFE that turned Miller-Bish. This is more 1994 style overrunning. I did think of that storm though...funny you mentioned that. We had a couple of deals in 1994 where these overrunning deals slammed into an arctic high. For instance at the old air base in South Weymouth (KNZW) they reported heavy snow and sleet with a temp of like 18F. LOL. Basically is was synoptic sleet and heavy snow from OE. GFS wasn't far from that....but in any case...that's why we joke about that. That guy Wilton Felder is a jazz musician who's sound track reminds us of watching those old forecast on the 8s with that music in the background during that winter.
  2. This might actually be good for Ray. Hope so man.
  3. Ukie looks good, might be lots of IP near the pike. Got to get the GGEm on board.
  4. Edit: Meant snow cover not snow "over" lol....but yeah solid month.
  5. It’s been solid here. Started with a torch high on the first of 52, but that’s it. You know how it goes with cutters, we can hit 60. But that was the monthly high. I do wish we had more Snow over this month to go along with it, but it’s been in dumpings lol. Hopefully some cover is here to stay.
  6. It looked like 6z Euro was getting colder.
  7. 5, no faking it here this winter. -8 for Bob?
  8. Might have to watch for some light snow around tomorrow especially near coast and then into NH and Maine as return flow pulls it NW.
  9. 6z gfs even colder. Hopefully euro comes around.
  10. I’m not saying anything lol. Just wish it would be more peaceful.
  11. LOL, I’m not going to put it above my bed, I wanted to look at the behavior of how it developed and waned.
  12. Also, we went to our friends in Duxbury. We were bringing them dinner, but they just got back their power luckily. Interesting obs heading down rt 3. I. Noticed a little snow sticking to the trees right around Hanover. As we went for the south just passed Marshfield heading into Duxbury, it was a lot more snow sticking to the trees, however it wasn’t paste and also was getting blown off too. But the snow was noticeably wetter. Those line covered neighborhoods did have some decent snow stacked on the branches.
  13. Yeah maybe. Wind kills it haha. I just wanted to look back at something.
  14. Who had that radar loop of that storm? I can’t find that now. That was awesome.
  15. It definitely varied. Like in that pic with Brett, he might had some protection from his house or whoever’s house that is in the pic. Enough to prevent some scouring. I noticed that in some areas today. Those areas that weren’t prone to wind had big time depth.
  16. I’m leaning on the warmer side for SNE . It’s a cold high coming in, but seems like we have support for warmth.
  17. It’s definitely settled quite a bit. But you can tell a good amount of QPf was in this. Big time deep winter piles on the streets.
