Here is the snow pile, a new record at just over 8ft high! Now I'm ready for a couple days of rest, lol. (I used a 6ft stepladder to measure it).

Over the years, I continue to laugh about how alike so many of us are, not just with our curious love for snow but also in regards to:

    • the huger the snowpiles the better

    • “anal” perfection with our shoveling/snow pile making

    • “Don’t EVEN think about walking across my pristine snow-covered lawn!”

    • creative snow-light setups and snow-depth measuring devices

    • what have I missed⁉️

Thanks all for making me feel just a bit more normal and a little less neurotic‼️

Mt Holly just upped the the possible accumulation totals  to  7 inches in the LV. They are worried about the convective banding and now saying 2"  an hour rates are possible.   WWA expanded into Montgomery and Bucks Counties as well.  Walter Drag and I have been discussing throughout the week this setup as a possible nice surprise.

Not seeing this on their site⁉️

Don't know if you're familiar with the old flexible flyer sleds (metal runners), but those conditions were the best for sledding with those sleds!

Just reminiscing with my wife about that today when I heard the forecasted lows and our pending glaciers‼️‼️

Are you mixing up the events? Tonight is a no go. This event is Thursday that has the chance for legit snowfall.

Was thinking about starting my first thread for the event since were under 4 days, but idk haha

No, it WAS in reference to Thursday’s event...

I was responding to “a lot of mixing on pivotal clown map” and Ralph’s response to that.

I was saying that it was way too early to think about mixing or non-mixing as the models keep waffling on events that are only 24 hours out.

I'd like to see a close-up map for central Montco. I'm not sure which side of the line I'm on. I know a few miles either ways doesn't make a difference, just curious where my neighborhood is in relation. Lansdale itself is in the WAA, but I'm west of the borough over by NP High.

Get the wunderground app and you can have the warnings layer on the map to see where the warning and watches are exactly

    .

    Thanks so much...works great!!

I saved a shot of the Montgomery County delineation but this annoying site says it’s too large to upload for me to show it to you!

No doubt. Maybe we thump out 3-5" prior?

    Too much volatility...

Another wait and see (but much waffling in between)!

Last night on 11pm NBC10, Steve Sasna said we had caught a break for Monday Tuesday because the models had warmed...NOW look where we are less than 24 hours later (and it may/will change again by tomorrow evening)!

This widespread deep snowpack has A LOT of staying power that no models will forecast accurately...Seen it many times over many years!!

Big red flag on the 18z. In one run it took Philly  from 37 to 58 degrees .... the fine details of where the surface low tracks. Do we keep the NNE wind or do we veer SE.

    NOT buying 58° at all‼️‼️
