  1. Full Jon Cash mode. Stormpc is wearing a snowflake tonight.
  2. Ground is turning white now. Like @Stormpcsaid it’s like switch was flipped. Fully saturated. We are juicing. @Coach McGuirkwhen are you going to come back and post here! You were around with us during the easternwx days right?
  3. Rates have arrived! Grill cover turning white.
  4. At the beach. Light snow, but still nothing on the ground.
  5. Ha! I think you all may be shutting down soon. I’m at the beach and nothing on the ground just yet.
  6. Would be great to see this area more north. It’s what we need in HR to put done some accumulations.
  7. Looking at radar you can see the battle ground with the dry air is the VA/NC boarder. Even the returns further north are fading south. At this point, it’s safe to say anyone north of the boarder will most likely not see any banding that would cause accumulations outside of a dusting. On and off flurries/light snow are probably it for many on the Southside. Bands that appear to be heading north erode away and almost appear to reform further south. Storm pc is in a great spot.
  8. Precip out west is from the ULL, which will not affect us. But I’m not sure if you’re referring to things that far west. Our precip is coming from the developing coastal that is pushing banding from the south.
  9. Latest HRRR showing that band going through Elizabeth city. The LP relocates south west and then starts its ENE move away. This moves banding south east of our area.
  10. Radar starting to fill in with better returns.
  11. Radar is indicating dry layers are becoming saturated. Donut hole is reducing now.
  12. Latest RAP Crap decent hit for southside and NE NC
  13. HRDPS shows a brand setting up from Edenton - Hertford - Elizabeth city - currituck to knots island. These areas should see accumulations.
  14. we are some what active, pop in. You’re still on the peninsula?
  15. Reminds me of a similar storm back in 2008 or 2009 maybe, similar snow maps the day of the storm. Schools and most businesses were all closed. I was commuting in to work that morning. Snow plows were parked on the shoulders of 264 and 664 just waiting. It was partly cloudy all day. North winds pumped in the drier air. Elizabeth city did see several inches.
