I think east ct stays dry for a while as this slowly strengthens expands and then moves east this afternoon. Def west half of the state focused until early afternoon. Hrrr gives an idea of the possible progression
Depends if you can sneak into the banding / I think it’s going to be a 20-30 mile wide band that gets the goods. Right now it’s favored for New Haven county but it could trend east
32.9 here now now accumulation had some rain snow mix for a while but spiked up to 36 during the heaviest rain. Now dry slot. Hoping mesos are right for 3-6” today.
edit had a slushy coating overnight when heavy snow mixed in..
drizzle now 33
too much banding potential after the rain for me to give up.. could still be a fun Tuesday.. The nam will waffle back and forth.. 3km nam and 12km switched places at 18z conveniently
It was, trended the mid levels and CCB better. Step in the right direction but still not great.. the thump tonight is warmer for northern ct so less snow overall.
Hey what was that weenie model that we used from WSI back in the day, the one you'd share always with horrible graphics that was used on TV a lot with WSI. It was always fun for a good laugh. I don't have access to WSI anymore..
