Situation is crazy. Some buses took 5 hours to deliver kids. And as most have said, gridlock everywhere. Why is this one so bad? A 6” snow with some mix is significant but my no means unusual around here. Underestimated? Timing? Unprepared?

Total mess around these parts. Got a call from the school (Hempfield) saying high school buses could not safety make their drops so they might be returning to the school. Elementary kids would be held until the roads were safer. Zoinks!

Officially just started here. Mostly sleet.

Still a lot of leaves on the trees around these parts. A couple of inches of paste could be a problem like we had in October a few years ago.
