  1. H8 temps are around +20C from MWN to BOS. Near all-time record territory for the Rockpile? IIRC their record is 72F. It probably won't happen, but if we can get a monster mixed layer and keep them out of the 0SM FG maybe they can get close if these progs verify.
  2. Another 100F run from the 6z GFS.
  3. That 00z GFS was special for heat. Over the top 22C.
  4. Those afternoon 58s are getting a beat down...still 53F at the 18z ob. That matches the MOS dews pretty well. Base your temps around that for the next 36hrs and you're around 49F at midnight LST. 47F will be tough to beat.
  5. That would probably be a 100F watch for an unnamed tarmac.
  6. GFS is 95F+ in the hot spots next Monday.

  8. Eh...not seeing summer the end of next week or the weekend yet, but it does look a little warmer. Gotta watch for BDs still too.
  9. Heh...good luck with that. I'll call your bluff though. I guarantee you'd be in "may as well cheer for snow" mode.
  10. Because it's never too early... 6/6 and June all-time record low max temps CON 54F (1928) / 49F (mult yrs) ORH 51F (2000) / 47F (6/2/1946) BOS 52F (1926) / 49F (mult yrs) PWM 51F (1910) / 47F (6/9/1956) BDL 54F (2000) / 50F (6/1/1907) PVD 52F (1926) / 47F (6/1/1907) BTV 55F (1928) / 48F (6/10/1972) CAR 50F (2005) / 43F (6/1/1945)
  11. The question wasn't about this BS...it was about 1816. I'm pretty sure you'd be all-in for a Daddy's Day flurry.
  12. If it's going to be putrid let's make it epically bad. I want to hear my entire family pissing and moaning to me about how terrible the spring is and asking if we'll have a summer this year. 40s for highs or bust.
  13. Neverending splitting for MPM. An axe glued to his hands 24/7/365 like Paul Bunyan.
  14. I wonder how Kevin would've posted during 1816. Do you cheer on flurries in June and frost in July or stick with summer all the way? Tough call.
  15. This looks like it would be a nice day.
  16. New York is still struggling with beautiful. You'd think we'd have diarrhea down by now here.
  17. We're clearing out in NH now.
  18. Hopefully clearing out the mid levels gives us enough insolation to try and mix this out. Unfortunately my dewpoint depression sits at 3F.
  19. Yeah I always enjoy gouging my eyes out while looking at vis sat in these setups and seeing breaks moving W to E from the Great Lakes into VT and then hitting a brick wall near the CT River. Sludge is a good descriptor. It just sits and lingers in the CAD zones like a rancid methane smell after getting your septic tank pumped.
  20. 18z GFS starts June with another couple hundred inches of rain.
  21. 3 days of heat...3 weeks of shiat Rinse and repeat
  22. My uncle has a heated, in-ground, salt water pool and keeps it at 85F all season.
  23. Down to 49.1F. I can only imagine what 93S looks like right now.
  24. 50.7F and spitting rain. Awesome. i kinda wish we never got that big warm up. We could've had some solid negative departures for the month.
