  1. Mostly snow, little bit of sleet in Smyrna, GA
  2. Need to get some more yellow and orange returns to keep the snow from changing over in Gwinnett, Jackson, Barrow and Hall Counties.
  3. I've got the biggest flakes I've ever seen coming down now. Grass and everything but roads are turning white
  4. Big ol flakes and some sleet coming down. Trying not to turn into a weenie because our Mets say it won't last but it looks extremely promising
  5. Already surpassed my low for the night. Down to 35 snow and sleet continues to fall
  6. Moderate-heavy snow in Braselton
  7. Temp down to 40. Its been dropping like a rock since I first reported I had sleet. Down from 49
  8. Would love for this to completely bust in a good way for metro Atlanta and everywhere else EDIT: As I post this, sleet has started in Jackson County
  9. Per Brad Nitz, lots of sleep reports in metro Atlanta
  10. Are Atlanta mets thinking that the models are too cold? I keep seeing snow totals over metro atlanta from the models but they just have it as rain
  11. Not sure if it matters but my forecast low was 33 and I'm already at 30
  12. Give me this and call it a winter
  13. It looks like our Atlanta local is going with the NAM model. Theirs looks like it has the warm nose
  14. Puts 1-1.5" in my back yard. I would take it here given how this winter is. I'm in Hoscton, GA
  15. Precip moved in and temp has dropped 2 degrees so far. Down to 43
  16. Happened a few years ago in Georgia, I think it was 48 or 49 when it started.
  17. That's what I'm hoping for right now. Last system had me changing to rain, but with how heavy the precip was, our temp dropped as we stayed all snow.
  18. I think I saw on Twitter that while the models are showing rain, the soundings look more like snow. I don't know how true that is though, would love to get some sounding analysis
  19. Lookout might get some action as well from those maps
  20. That gives the north east/east atlanta suburbs a solid event. Looks like 2-3 inches near me
  21. NAM nailed last weekends snow and has stuck to its gun each run on this storm. Wouldn't be going against it right now. Especially with all the other models trending that was as well
  22. I like that map with the differences in the models.
