Thanks for the tip. Traffic on 2 and 3 is getting pretty bad, so we are going to relax and enjoy it here. Parking lot looks like it will turn into a tailgate party and we have a beautiful view. Where are you watching?I just checked. Cabot Lodge only has a 45 second total eclipse. Even the other side of Lancaster to the north adds 30 seconds. You are so close to awesomeness but I would definately drive 15 minutes north. Just my opinion who has seen a total

Stayed in Lincoln last night on route 3 and drove to Lancaster this morning. Took about 30 to 40 minutes to get thru the Notch this morning but then it was easy cruising. Staying at the Cabot Lodge just inside the totality area. Huge parking lot with unobstructed views. Not going back until Wednesday so no traffic worries for us later. Enjoy!

12.33 inches of rain in March so far here in Randolph. More inches of rain this month than inches of snow this entire winter.

Any animal experts out there? Was this a coyote in our backyard last night?

A few stray flakes floating around here in Randolph, but City have 2 games in hand so I am happy for now!Really nice snow in this last band but this is doing what it said on the package and not what I hoped. Somewhere around 1.5 peeped over my coffee mug.
It's so pretty outside though, and Liverpool top of the league so I'm not arsed.

Glad they plowed! Hope I can make it thru the snow bank at the end of the driveway. Update: Plow just came thru for a second pass.

Same here, but still 33.8. Roads are just wet. At this point I hope it just stays this way so I don't have to worry about clearing the driveway. All snow now. Starting to coat.

You're not alone. Still 34.5 and white rain in Randolph.Snowing in seemingly every other direction except here. Can't have nice things.

Down to 35.4 in Randolph with occasional hints of a lonely flake trying to sneak into the rain. Brutal.

Wet flakes mixed in now at 34.5. Ground coated with pellets.

Rain mixed with tiny sleet pellets at 35.4 in Randolph. Miserable morning outside.

Grew up in Rhode Island and want to Klein Innsbruck a few times and used to trek up to Blue Hills for evening skiing. Most of my early skiing was at Ski Valley in Cumberland and occasionally Diamond Hill. The good old days of rope tows, j-bars, t-bars, and poma lifts. Somehow we survived. This is a great site for lost ski areas. Was on a ski team in the early '70s and must have skied them all. We practiced at night at klein innsbrook in Franklin and during the day Blue hills. Weird thing is I don't ever remember getting rained out of meet. Maybe once at prospect Hill in Waltham. Times they are a changin'...

Woke up to 50 degrees and the last of the remaining snow vaporized.

That was sudden. Went from big fatties and low visibility to some light snizzle in about 2 minutes in Randolph. About 3 inches on the ground.
