  1. Good. I need either 1) a week of 90s or 2) a geological event to warm Lake Raystown to where my balls don't shrivel to the size of dust specks when I hop in and my son becomes my daughter.
  2. Well to be fair, home field/court/ice in a series goes to the lower seed in a traditional 2-2-1-1-1 if the higher seed drops one of the first two games anyway, so the only difference is needing to win one of three instead of one of two if they drop one of the first two, and then potentially a third separate game on the road. Washes out a bit. If the higher seeds drops both home games, there should be no "Hands Across America," they put themselves in that hole.
  3. The only downside to the 2-3-2 format is the higher seed loses home ice advantage for the pivotal game five. Maybe losing a potential clinch at home scenario but parades exist to allow you to see the trophy anyway.
  4. As the above image shows. Not a cloud in the sky here. I was planning on mowing today but the other half has planned a nice evening so I'll probably do a midnight mow just to piss the neighbors off and dodge the potential storms tomorrow.
  5. He spent two years in a dry heat and now he knows how much ass humidity really sucks and knows that we don't reach 98 without humidity.
  6. It's okay. I've said ten Hail Mary's and seven Mother May I's?
  7. I could go back and look for what I predicted for the Sox, but I'm probably going to bust a good bit low on them. I'm glad I didn't bet any win/loss projections because I did NOT have the Phillies on the course for 117 or so wins, nor did I have the Pinstripes at or around that mark. I would bust low as shit on them only to be recouped by the Braves, who on paper improved in the off-season and looked like a team that could win 120 baseball games, but may end up below 500 at the end of the season, and the Astros who I figured even with a championship window that is all-but-closed still had 100 wins in them, are probably going to finish below .500.
  8. I am not "breakfast all day" guy, but a good breakfast is better than any ten lunches and dinners combined. I have never been to Shady Maple. I will eventually get there. In the name of science, I may have to hang out with Mary Jane beforehand. Best breakfast I've had that I didn't make myself: the Big Porker at the Zodiac Dinor in Erie. It was just about every pork byproduct available, your selection of eggs and a mile of pancakes. I once ate that and floated to Kitchener. Seeing that lady in Porsche's video haul off with giant French toast and a pound and a half of bacon made me consider getting in the car now and being there in the morning.
  9. Next week sure as shit looks hot. I have a week-long campout at Raystown in two weeks. I need some hot and sun then.
  10. How's the drought situation around CPA? I was driving down to Huntingdon yesterday and the Frankstown Branch Juniata looks... low. We haven't gotten much rain up here. Just some light drizzle a few times. I'm wondering if the D word is coming.
  11. Nobody is catching you if you can take close to three weeks off and still have the field lapped. For any on here that are into auto racing, this competition is the single largest ass-kicking since the 1985 Daytona 500 where Bill Elliott lapped the entire field.
  12. Sixers need a Porzingis type. A seven-foot Lithuanian mofo who probably was deadlifting taxi cabs before being potty trained. Although a Doncic wouldn't be bad, either. You know what lends to quick feet? Not knowing if your next step is on a landmine.
  13. Had a window of opportunity to get mow #5 in and I successed. Rain commenced right as the mower was turned off and put away. I rule!
  14. I was told there would be sun today. The weather sits on a throne of lies.
