It's incredible how little the park has changed on the right side of the highway. The kiddie section I think has one ride that is under 40 years of age and overall the only alterations on that side since I was a youngster (I turn 39 in August) was the removal of Zyklon and turning it into a Wild Mouse and the tragedy that was getting rid of Space Odyssey. Almost nothing else has changed. The go karts and mini golf where the water park is now were great. Wish they had a way to keep those while putting in a wave pool and a lazy river.

Can confirm. Hot as shit out today. Went to Laguna Splash Skettiworld Water Park after work and once again had to flee a thunderboomer. The lightning was nasty especially in Tyrone where I stopped to top off afterwards.

English football is insane like that in that folks in LA would have to be up at 4 am to watch their teams. And the bars would fill up.

I did not receive hail, but we had some loud thunder and a lot of rain where I was at, as I was not home. Where was I? I was buying a riding lawnmower. It may be too late in the game to lift the trophy, but I'm going to salvage a winning season now.

Well to be fair, home field/court/ice in a series goes to the lower seed in a traditional 2-2-1-1-1 if the higher seed drops one of the first two games anyway, so the only difference is needing to win one of three instead of one of two if they drop one of the first two, and then potentially a third separate game on the road. Washes out a bit. If the higher seeds drops both home games, there should be no "Hands Across America," they put themselves in that hole.

The only downside to the 2-3-2 format is the higher seed loses home ice advantage for the pivotal game five. Maybe losing a potential clinch at home scenario but parades exist to allow you to see the trophy anyway.
