It is absolutely wretched in my classroom right now... Across the hallway is even worse.
My most hated days... I'm fine with this weather when I am off and in my pool... but here at work it blows
A number of school districts around me are having early dismissal including my daughter’s (1 hour)
Not my wife’s or mine. The crayons will be melting (not kidding) in the room across the hallway
89F for my high on my cheap thermometer. Car thermometer was bouncing between 91 and 93 in the area though.
Monday and Tuesday will be absolutely wretched at work. No AC. Poor ventilation and masks. Pray for me
Bears being spotted everywhere in my town. Facebook posts daily. Our daughter saw a big one yesterday near our house while she was riding the school bus home. I haven’t seen one in a few years though. But they are all around.
There is a mama bear (sow) with three cute cubs that goes through peoples yards every so often. She had been tagged and this is her second set of triplets according to wildlife folks
Tough day for Mass police officers. 2 shot in Braintree. One drowned in Worcester trying to save a kid
Unrelated, One thing that I pray stays as it is cocktails to go. Chinese Mai Tais ftw
Here in Mass they have already announced that for middle and high school kids there will be no more masks, distancing, etc. For elementary they will be deciding in a few weeks...
That book really affected me back in the day. I still remember parts of it vividly, like the guy ziplocking technical manuals/books and hiding them in the septic tank. Genius! The sad part about the same person realizing that his diabetes was a death sentence was also poingnant
Seeking advice:
Our son was driving to his internship this morning. He got sideswiped into a guardrail His (my) car is 12 years old. 170k miles on it but was still in good shape. Probably totaled. He was unhurt as far as we can tell
The other driver was driving a truck for a seafood company (not amarshall lol) and had a suspended license. State trooper was not happy. The other driver admitted it was his fault and was offering our son money (not that he had it) to make it go away. Very sketchy
Do we just let the insurance co do it’s thing or do we hire an attorney?
