  1. From my memory this felt like the third most humid summers. Two different locations though. 1988. 2018. 2021. no real data to back it up though.
  2. A few little poppers dumping. HRRR seemed to hint at those earlier today
  3. Yeah. They should get below 80 by midnight. Those 80F 24 hour lows are hard to come by
  4. I wonder why there is an HOA fee ($300/mo)
  5. En fuego. Hopefully not peaking too soon
  6. Ours is a mix rescue. Maybe half lab half Great Dane? Long legs and double dew claws in the back. Sweet girl
  7. Our pup Lily last week. 7 years old
  8. We hit 90F here. 4th day of 90 or above. Many years we don’t hit it at all On the good side, the pool was a perfect 82F.
  9. Snow days are always the deciding factor. I thought after last year snow days were done but that option(remote) was removed. I am thankful about that for now
  10. We can get big heat in late June as well. This past school year we had temps in the 90s in June. So moving the start doesn’t affect it much. But AC would be nice.
  11. 89/73 at local Davis site. 97 HI My wife must be loving her classroom today. No AC and 2 tiny windows that open a little.
  12. As of yesterday Boston was at 22 90+ degree days. The record is 30 from 1983 I think. I don’t recall that summer
  13. 65F here attm. Have the AC off downstairs and some doors and windows open for a little bit. I know the humidity is high.
  14. That’s pretty good. We have been running the ACs a ton this summer. Plus the pool as needed and our house is smaller. Window units only and our monthly bill has been around $250 with Nat Grid.
  15. Bringing my wife’s car in to get the brakes done Friday. I think the parking brake thing is sorta inexpensive?
  16. It’s amazing how few sedans are sold anymore. I don’t think the US Big 3 manufacturers make any anymore? I could be wrong Tesla does but that’s a different story entirely.
  17. No prolonged CoC for a while. Classrooms will be fun…
  18. At least they owned up to it. I wonder how many engines failed to prompt it?
  19. The leaves are getting that leathery look… Seriously though, I can’t recall having my lawn be so relatively green all summer. Still looks like crap, but it’s been green the whole time
