  1. We have a ton of them in the woods in the back of our house (owls that is)
  2. Let’s see…. For my area one really cold day. Caused some damage due to burst pipes etc two high end damage snow events. Tons of trees and wires down. Power outages. One 30” event Above normal snowfall Long stretches of boring Lack of a pack until late in the game Above normal temps (which helped with heating bills) lots of rain Maybe a C here? This is a tricky one to grade
  3. Both are paved. But our road has been a nightmare for quite a while. It was not engineered or built properly and the town has not fixed it. It won’t be fixed until 2025/2026 based on the current plan.
  4. This owl from March says it’s April now
  5. Todays warmth and rain should help get rid of a lot of my remaining snow
  6. Squalls making their way through NYS. Let’s see if anything makes it into MA or VT
  7. Yeah... the map key is a little confusing. Not sure why it says it instead of seasonal snowfall total or something
  8. Yup. They renamed it a few years ago.
  9. I am not a fan of this time of year. What is left of my snowpack looks awful. The parts of my yard that are snow free are mushy. On a couple of weeks it should be better but for now it is gross.
  10. Still a decent amount of snow on some parts of my property. Hopefully we can melt it and dry things out for a bit
  11. How do they get those to spin. The current record is like 1200’ in diameter. Sweet
  12. Above normal snowfall. One huge event at the end Above avg temps. Weird season. Not my ideal one but I won’t meh it. Especially when everyone else in SNE was royally porked.
  13. Yup. Moving on here as well. Mud season is magical.
  14. I only know the Whites region. I would love to retire there. Or somewhere by the ocean.
  15. Probably getting close in S RI though
  16. Yep. Although I can drive to three breweries within 20 minutes. Wachusett, Moon Hill, and Stone Cow. Not many nice restaurants in that circle though.
  17. With a lot of decent jobs offering remote it is easier to live in a snowy zone today. Families can easily handle living a rural life. Not everyone is in an air conditioned soccer mom/dad bubble.
