I guess your spring has been much like ours---south and west jersey seems to have been enjoying a much better spring. I could be wrong however
Being in the western half of NJ, I can agree with this. It hasn't been too bad. It has been very cloudy, but not nearly as wet or as cool as you guys to the E.

Last summer was not too bad, humidity wise, as I recall. I certainly remember summers that were much more uncomfortable.
Humidity was bad, but temps have been worse. There were many overcast days in the 80s with dews super high so it felt like a steam room.

I remember as a kid I would wear my totes toasties that had little snowflakes on the bottom and my NY Giants pjs if it might snow. Now as a 40 year old with 3 kids, I put on these blue pajama pants with snowflakes on them. My wife hates them, but oh well!
Being CNJ, my brother and I would put on 1450am for the school closings in the 80s listening on this little radio we had in our kitchen. I think they still actually do it, but the robo calls and text messages is what my district sends out now.

A little late to the party here but 7" fell where I am. I noticed that the sleet line got to within 5 or so miles of my house reaching southern Somerset Co and during that time it was really dumping by me.

2" of snow, about .15" ice.

OT rules in the NFL are awful, game is basically decided on a coin toss. That about clinches my decision to not watch yet another Super Bowl with the Pats.
One team that won the toss was victorious, the other lost. Rule is fine. Play defense, Rams did. Chiefs gave up 3 3rd and 10s in OT. Terrible D.
