I'll just state the obvious..
Lovely...just what we want to hear....an explanation from a non-educated wanna be MET who puffs his chest like he is some seasoned hurricane God. Go post it somewhere else please.

That of course does not mean we will see more 80+ days like Sunday with even some upper 80's possible thru Wednesday but any 90 plus days seems well out of reach here in western Chester County
It helps to have your station surrounded by trees and located at nearly 700 feet AMSL ;)
not all of Chesco, or even western Chesco, has those conditions.

Wonder what happened to @Rib. Been almost 5 years now.
His last posts had to do with the guy shooting up Montco....and the shooter killed himself the next day so at least we know it wasn’t him cause he last visited the 21st

Tornado warning in SNJ

Impressive! It looks like an area of strong, straight-line winds going off of the velocity on radar... The portion that hit you, at least! I was wondering if those winds were mixing to the ground, or if they weren't... I'd like to hear more confirmation, but those strong winds aloft are serious.
I thought straight line as well but winds in my backyard were coming at different directions. The video I have is of the end of the winds. Straight sounded like a jet engine

Outside right now is a constant rumble that I have never heard before in my life! Nonstop for several minutes now

Keep an eye on that storm currently over Kutztown. Looks like some weak rotation being picked up on radar

Interesting how folks feel the line was “meh” and it came with a tornado warning for Philadelphia, Lol. For mid April, that is far from “meh”. Meh for your local perhaps, but the outcome shows SPC was correct

Look at the batch that's actually going to hit us. Looks like maybe a rumble of thunder, let alone severe. Sticking with some rain but overall NBD.
The SPC severe threat isn’t until overnight here. Guess we’ll see. It’s about wind and isolated tornadoes anyway, not typical summer severe/fropa

We're socked in the clouds. I don't see it spc.
You don’t need clear skies in this setup. Just ask the folks in N Nc and S Va currently under TOR warnings and been socked in with clouds

We won’t see those amounts during a light to moderate event from 3-6 pm on March 8th. Sorry

I have to believe my area will be the Bucks county jackpot. You gotta smell the rain to get the best rates. No doubt. Insane snowfall rates right now

Just under 4" here. No mixing to speak of. Moderate-Heavy snow attm. 1/4 mile visibility at best.
Yeah here it was literally a few ice pellets mixed in for about 5-10 mins. Now just ripping snow again. Looking like we stay snow.

Up to 3.5”. Had a few pingers now all snow again. 32.5
CC radar shows it sinking south. Good news for my location

Not liking that mix line pushing north of turnpike

2.8” here in wrightstown and ripping. Drive back from Bear creek was bad. Rt 663 was closed due to bad accident. Then had to drive around multiple stuck vehicles on hills on 313 just south of Doylestown. Certainly not a bust here.
current temp 32.5
