  1. In laws power restored over night
  2. Love it. I’ll see a couple around here in Spring. Simple things that bring joy to the day to day.
  3. Max of 50 people for outdoor gatherings. 25 for indoor gatherings. And updating restaurant guidelines to clamp down on bars masquerading as restaurants requiring on-site alcohol consumption to be accompanied by food that is "prepared onsite". Indefinite delay on step 2 of Phase 3 re=opening.
  4. Price we pay for being morons and thinking things are back to normal and we don't need to social-distance or wear masks. Glad I'm not part of those idiots.
  5. Family is on day 3 without power in Colchester.
  6. Sucks the rains vaporized. Maybe we can score a brief shower but nothing meaningful. Torch to start the month too. Sitting at +6.3F.
  7. Singing kumbaya by the campfire firepit?
  8. Euro, Ukie, GGEM are virtuall dry for here. GFS is on an island.
  9. Here's a novel idea. How about every time lines go down, we force the power companies to start burying them underground. I live in a neighborhood with all the utilities underground. No worries of power lines coming down. Just the older lines outside the development.
  10. Yeah, doesn't ring a bell. We did have one guy who would always come from the Van Dora Nursing Home down to the Igo Building to watch us play soccer. He must have been 90 years old.
  11. Can't justify it right now. I think I've lost power for maybe 3-4 days total in the 16 years I've lived where I am. I'd be looking at $5k to have one installed.
  12. Even with low dews, we torch. Up to 86F
  13. https://indaily.com.au/news/2020/08/06/beirut-blast-one-of-biggest-ever-non-nuclear-explosions/
  14. Little model disparity on QPF output into Saturday for modeled rains. Here are the 12z GFS, 12km NAM, and 3km NAM.
  15. I worked at a liquor store for years. Started in the Redemption area at the age of 16 and ended up doing pretty much everything once I hit the age of 18. The people I saw day to day. The day drinkers, the drunks, the people who picked up every can/bottle know to man for the $0.05. Crazy folks.
  16. We shall talk beer. Love it! Also, have a friend as the owner of a small brewery is cool. Our tastes definitely morph over time. Currently I prefer my beers hoppy. I appreciate all styles though.
  17. You saw the photo, no one was following social distancing guidelines and the crew was not enforcing them. Passengers were all crammed top deck. They should be penalized for that.
  18. I’ll choose other brews over these 2 now. There are so many more better options to choose from nowadays. I don’t always agree with Rev but this is one time I do. Now back to your regularly scheduled damage discussion.
  19. All about the track. Bob west east and Gloria was west
