  1. Because the algorithm used to calculate the kuchera ratio is often too bullish. Its an extremely fluid calculation. While the ratio only takes temperature into account there are numerous other factors which have significant effect on the final ratio. Doesnt account for Humidity aloft, Dendritic growth, compaction and multiple other factors
  2. GFS looks great. Keeps things colder. Interesting coastal front situation. I hope the GFS is right for the new york weenies. They deserve this and im sure they are shitting bricks
  3. I think they will get more than 12 inches. Very very likely.
  4. https://mapwall.met.psu.edu/ewall/nbm/ I am tossing the NAM for now. Unless 00z shows significant changes i think even the south coast performs exceptionally well. Maybe not as well as the weenie in all of us hopes, but lets be honest. The last years have been absolutely brutal. We finally have a decent pattern shaping up.
  5. I think 8-12 in portland and southern maine is going to bust as well.
  6. I have a feeling Framingham-ORH-Wachusett is gonna put down some big numbers. Great day to ski WaWa
  7. I just dont see this verifying. Its still nice to see though. The storms where the south shore jackpots always tend to be huge systems.
  8. Hey everyone, I use to go by @HullMA I lost access to the account. I will be reporting in from Scituate MA. I have some crazy pics from 2015. I saw @CoastalWxmention them not long ago. Are there any flood risks with this storm?
