The snow flurries never made it to Delaware. Actually the radar was showing it dry up as it approached annapolis maryland. Don't know if any flurries happened around Ft Meade Maryland. Yesterday evening the radar showed snow around Baltimore but the traffic cameras showed nothing. Maybe they got something. As of now temps in magnolia Delaware went from 31F @ 4:30 to 23 @ 6:56. Winds 12 gusts already at 25

Looks lovely, as the models went from the snow to a nice warm up. Some 6z gave no qpf like the GFS, others like the AIGFS and GEFS gave qpf with warm temps and a little snow to wet your appetite. That cold is locked up in Canada

Awe, may not get GFS storm. With the 2m temps, 850mb temps, it might as well be a rain maker.

Funny man, my bust the qpf north is light, but temps still marginal at 2m. Consider you had opened a thread for a crap system that didn't perform. This is far out and snow maps mean nothing. But whatever floats you and the others boats.

GFS 18z 500mb, 700mb, 850 mb are cold the 2m temps are marginal. QPF is light.

That may even go further NW, will see next week as the modeling keeps showing different out takes. The Ero AI 12z temps 2m warm, 850mb close and 700mb and 500mb are cold.

Nice 36F here magnolia Delaware, the snow is melting real good. That's still a thick crust of ice on top.

Yeah, are those departures from normal temperature? Snow map can't be taken seriously for that long period of time. I will say delmarva was supposed to have mid 40s mid8of next week through next weekend. That's changed to mid upper 30s. The long range forecast for around 17-20 has possible upper 30s low 40s with showers and freezing rain, something we definitely don't want. Those long range will definitely keep changing as the transition from winter to spring starts to happen.

I've stating that some of the AI models have it warm at the surface and 850 mb. I'd rather have the rain or showers for a couple days and get this crap off the roads. NW can have what's left of snow for the next couple weeks.

The 850 temps are marginal, 2m temps are good depending on your location and the 500mb & 700mb temps are cold.

Latest on the bay bridge ice. The channel is ice free

I'm talking about the around 17. AIEuro, AIGFS and Euro, the 850mb are warm for that period too, the 700mb is cold but the warm air aloft will hurt.

12z GFS says give it to NC/VA again as the HP suppresses it down. Neat to see all the different outcomes. Different model 12z runs show 2m temps warm with the exception of Euro and GFS. I also notice the 850mb level is warm on all 12z models, the 700mb level is cold on all 12z model runs.

GFS earlier this morning showed something like this, so you know it won't happen. Will see next Wednesday Thursday
