The trough is wide and positive tilting. Early during the week I miss spoke of gfs run but is showed this system going from NC to out to sea. Unless the trough changes I don't see this coming up the coast. Then again we have this weekend system we're there's 1 - 2 inches of rain for delmarva. Never any cold are when we have precipitation.
I'll be in the PA mountains for the last weekend of deer season, looking to drive home Monday the holiday unless the weather changes then I'll head home Sunday.
I wouldn't go with the GFS until other models are on board and we are within 3 days. We've had storms right up to day 2 coming up the coast to all of a sudden go further ots.

Those are more believable for the NE as long as the system stays close enough to give them snow.
Thanks for posting and supports the forecast for my area that I posted.
I agree with you and the lo g range looks like warm weather at least here near Dover Delaware. Of course things can change.
Beyond the 16th the weather remains in the 30s during the day and upper 20s at night through 21st and start to climb into the 40s 23rd with slight chance of snow showers those days. That's to far into the future and will change.
I'm heading to the farm below eagles Mere PA next week for the last weekend of bow hunting. The weather there is even nice with temps day upper 20s and lows middle to upper teens.
Would be nice for I95, but still to far out, we have a current rain storm coming in this weekend. Than a short live cold spell with snow shower before temps rise into the 40s. This according ti the 10 day weather forecast for Felton Delaware
