  1. A TIRED RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR BOSTON MA TODAY WHEN AT 311PM THE TEMPERATURE HIT 97. THIS TIES THE RECORD OF 97 SET BACK IN 1901 AND 1991.
  2. So if I buy that station, I don't need it to be hard wired in any way right? It would run off batteries and connect wirelessly to the indoor station?
  3. Come on folks I want heat updates
  4. I will probably get this one. AcuRite Atlas 01007M Weather Station with Temperature and Humidity Gauge, Rainfall, Wind Speed, Direction & Lightning Detection for Home Forecast So there is a link with frequently bought together... Do I need to get all those extras? @dendrite This will be set up off my back deck. I don't have a better option. It's better than nothing.
  5. I like the looks of this one in terms of price https://www.amazon.com/AcuRite-01014M-Weather-Environment-System/dp/B074X85BMJ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1518642911&sr=8-1&keywords=AcuRite+01014M&linkCode=sl1&tag=pwsbuyingguide-20&linkId=33d5e2e33154c7adfc56ac99f940f877
  6. We've done a fine job of ignoring my hissy fits.
  7. Hope I didn't offend you with my discussion the last few days. Its a touchy subject for me.
  8. Honestly, I'm flexible. I would say mid range. I've been waiting to get one since I was 12. I just don't know how much work it takes to install one. Would it have to be hard wired? I do have the benefit of outdoor plugs. It's a 3 story triple decker in the city, so less outdoor requirements the better.
  9. Hey folks... I'd love to buy a more advanced wx station. Connection to the internet and mesonet is a must. I want to be able to easily check it on my phone. How much would it cost? Also... Needs to be able to move easily. I won't be here permanently.
  10. It's a lava bath at Faneuil Hall. Not many people out today. This new Note 20 Ultra takes incredible photos.
  11. Food was probably the worst example of any I could have picked. Dying in a plane crash or hit by a car walking on the sidewalk just doesn't feel preventable to me on the part of the victim. I could see your point. If you never leave your house. One could say that's the point of covid quarantine. But this is a temporary measure versus say permanently refusing to ever fly or walk down the street. Is it considered preventable on the part of the driver or pilot? I guess... But the victim? You can't do anything to prevent it besides luck
  12. Heading into work now. My last reading at Ashmont is 93/74
  13. ??? You can prevent being hit by a car on the sidewalk? Or choking on food? Those seem like unpreventable accidents. You won't catch covid if you quarantine
  14. Again, there is no quarantine here
  15. So that's... Still not preventable. I'm pretty sure anyone who died would have wished they took it more seriously. I don't know where you get this idea the lockdowns are never ending from. Australia is 5 percent vaccinated. Mass is at like 70 percent. Everything is open.
  16. Again.. This is just a sh*t awful embarrassing take. It's a preventable death. None of those people others are.
  17. I hit a high of 91 on the personal weather station. Tends to run a degree or two warm in afternoon hours during summer. I'd guess I hit 89.
  18. The safety of my loved ones and family (who I still get to see during quarantine) are much more important than my personal freedom during a 1 year pandemic. Small price to pay to protect those you love. The reward is the time you get with them once this ends. Seems like a small sacrifice to me.
  19. Where the hell is government ave
  20. They must be close to acquiring vaccines by now I would think. I'm not really paying too much attention at this point anymore lol
