  1. Heck I think that I have got a lot of my snow from LES this year. Seems weird the lakes aren't even frozen. This year the models can't keep a threat 3 days out. I would be happy with one decent snow this year. Feeling sorry for the people down South they are getting pummeled by rain. NWS: Snow to rain tonight into Tuesday morning. "Only 1" snow"
  2. I don't think I remember the models struggling so in the past.
  3. Not what you really want to see. Carolinas getting more snow than us.
  4. It is what it is...we got to make the best of it..Next snow season will be better. I did see a couple hours of sun yesterday.
  5. I have around 11" of snow this season. It all adds up...but....1" of paste gets old. Snow turning over to rain once a week.
  6. Same old pattern... ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM EST THURSDAY... * WHAT...A period of snow will develop in the evening, becoming a wintry mix around midnight. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches followed by ice accumulations of a glaze to a tenth of an inch. * WHERE...Northern Clinton, Northern Lycoming and Sullivan Counties. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
  7. Well we could end up getting something. edit: out dated map deleted
  8. The models have been doing that a lot this winter. Been really struggling... No ice on the river this year. But high water has been hampering fishing a lot this winter. Talking to a few guys they have been catching some nice musky on the river.
  9. Rain here this morning...no sign of snow. The Midwest keeps getting pounded with snow. And the Southeast keeps getting pounded with rain. At least we're not lacking precipitation.
  10. 29 degrees this morning with snow flurries...very light dusting. NWS showing snow and then a mix tonight into tomorrow morning
  11. They have been cutting that way most of the winter. Let's watch this play out...
  12. Cool sunny morning...snow sticking around overnight.
  13. A few years ago I had about 350lb bear destroy my feeders.
  14. Just puking snow right now, I would say we got over an inch . Been a crazy winter. I will get a few pics after bit. edit: quick shot out the window.
  15. A little snow starting to mix in here...40 degrees.
  16. With precipitation moving back into the area tonight, temps will be important as to whether we get snow, freezing rain, sleet, or rain. Here are the expected low temperatures.
  17. We still have been getting a decent amount of rain. Just not the white stuff. Wonder how it all averages out...
  18. How about that! @NWSStateCollege 5h At 3:30 am: Fun fact...It's currently warmer in Bedford, PA (62F) than it is in Miami, FL (61F). #PAwx Edit: Erie has a 41.9" snow deficit
  19. Winter isn't over yet. But the models are sure getting a workout trying to figure things out. Hit 61 here yesterday. Kept thinking what a nice day...
  20. Never thought of chicken chili...All sounds good, enjoy the game! Some snow showers would be nice.
  21. Snow showers over night. Amounted mostly to a dusting on the cars. Brisket Chili and chicken for the Super Bowl tonight.
  22. I agree with you, other years we usually got some north west movement with these storms. Just wish we could capture some cold for these storms... NWS: The arrival of a positively-tilted trough into the northeast Saturday night through Sunday may be enough to produce a quick minor snowfall and drop temperatures to below normal for a 24 to 36 hour period. As that trough moves off the Atlantic coast, northwest flow, lake effect snow, and gusty winds over western areas start the first full week in February.
